Jumio has added more awards to its haul for the year so far. The company received four trophies at the 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, winning Gold in Fraud Prevention and Artificial Intelligence Security, and again as the Fastest Growing Cybersecurity Company (1,000-4,999 employees). The fourth award was a Silver in the Identity and Access Management category.
The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards are handed out by Cybersecurity Insiders in conjunction with LinkedIn’s 400,000-member Information Security Community, and were set up to recognize individual and corporate innovation in the information security field.
“With over 500 entries in more than 90 award categories, the 2019 awards are highly competitive, and all winners truly reflect the very best in today’s cybersecurity industry,” said Holger Schulze, the CEO of Cybersecurity Insiders.
Jumio’s customer base jumped 60 percent in 2018, with year-over-year sales climbing 70 percent. The company’s latest accolades reflect that growth, especially when measured against the single Cybersecurity Excellence Award it claimed in 2018. Jumio has also received two BIG Innovation Awards and was recently named as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.
“The regular cadence of high-profile data breaches is putting pressure on companies to protect both their business and customers, especially as more and more sensitive transactions continue to move online,” said Jumio CEO Stephen Stuut. “We will continue to put innovation at the forefront to best protect our clients and their customers around the world.”
