“The expansion is the latest sign of Jumio’s booming business, with the company having reported a year-over-year jump in its annual recurring revenues of 96 percent in its Q4 report…”
Jumio‘s ascent continues with the company’s announcement of a new sales office in Singapore. The company says its new office will serve clients across Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Asia Pacific region in general.
To lead those sales efforts, Jumio has appointed Frederic Ho as its new APAC VP. In a statement announcing the developments, the company highlighted Ho’s regional experience in “selling and marketing information security solutions, including Micro Focus, OpenText, and Autonomy, targeting top ASEAN commercial and government enterprises.” The company also noted that Ho’s efforts will focus on “verticals including banking, financial services, sharing economy, cryptocurrency, and online gaming.”
The expansion is the latest sign of Jumio’s booming business, with the company having reported a year-over-year jump in its annual recurring revenues of 96 percent in its Q4 report, as well as a 176 percent jump in sales. Just this month, the company announced a new client in Toronto-based Goldmoney; and it also recently announced its win of a Gold award in the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
Jumio’s new APAC activities, meanwhile, will get a bit of a kickstart this month with Money20/20 Asia, where the company will show off Netverify, its flagship mobile biometric identity verification solution, which revolves around facial recognition and document reading using a standard mobile camera.
