A 30 minute webinar presentation promises to shed light on biometric enterprise security in the era of GDPR and CCPA
Next Wednesday, October 16, at 11am Pacific Time, biometric authentication and identity management specialist ImageWare Systems will present a live webinar: “Enterprise Security and Privacy – You Can Have Both“.
Billed as a joint webinar between privacy compliance consultancy firm 2B Advice and ImageWare, the event is positioned largely as a response to recent privacy legislation. Specifically, the webinar announcement singles out the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) – which ImageWare dubs “the most encompassing data privacy legislation to date, making GDPR pale in comparison.”
“Enterprise Security and Privacy – You Can Have Both” is an opportunity to learn more about these and other emerging privacy regulations, end-user attitudes toward data privacy, and strategies to improve your business’ identity security while streamlining adoption.
The presentation will feature two expert speakers:
- Kathleen Glass, VP of Marketing, Americas, 2B Advice
- Michael Senger, VP of Global Marketing, ImageWare Systems, Inc.
Registration is open, and those unable to watch live are encourage to sign up anyway, as the webinar is being recorded and attendees will receive a video copy.
ImageWare’s webinar comes on the heels of the announcement that its flagship biometric authentication platform, GoVerifyID, is available for MacOS. That announcement was the latest in what’s been an active few months for the company, which recently announced its biometric authentication technology is safeguarding Fujitsu’s RunMyProcess Digital Suite, and also launched its Biointellic liveness detection technology.
