“Accordingly, NEXT Biometrics will showcase its flexible fingerprint sensor modules on the show floor during TRUSTECH.”
TRUSTECH 2017 is just about to get underway, and NEXT Biometrics is getting ready to make the case for its biometric smart card technology at the event.
The company is banking on its flexible fingerprint sensor technology to help push it into a positive gross margin in Q1 of next year. Chief among the technology’s applications is its use in smart cards, with the potential for things like everyday credit cards that can biometrically authenticate their cardholders during transactions. Many are expecting a boom in this market as major firms like Mastercard seek to popularize this technology among consumers.
Accordingly, NEXT Biometrics will showcase its flexible fingerprint sensor modules on the show floor during TRUSTECH. And on November 28th, NEXT Biometric Solution Architect Kolja Vogel will discuss the technology as one of the participants on a “New Technologies Fostering Consumer Biometrics” panel.
TRUSTECH 2017 will take place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, and is scheduled to run from November 28th to 30th.
