Apple Pay is getting more and more useful, with new support from a trio of parking apps, reports MacRumors.
Drivers in a number of major US cities including Chicago, New York, and Toronto can now complete Apple Pay mPayments for their parking fees via Parking Panda, and the same applies to the 12 million people around the world using PayByPhone, which is also promoting the service in the US with the chance to win a free month of parking by paying with Apple Pay. Meanwhile, SpotHero, a parking reservation app catering to 13 US cities, has also enabled Apple Pay support.
Apple Pay hasn’t only received support from private parking services, it was also embraced by the UK town of Colchester for publicly run parking payments late last year. Now, with the support of these major platforms from private companies, the mPayment platform is seeing more opportunities for everyday use with consumers just looking for a convenient payment solution as they try to go about their day.
