Singaporean Access Management Platform Integrates Yoti Digital IDs

October 13, 2023

Singaporean Access Management Platform Integrates Yoti Digital IDs

In a move to bolster its identity verification capabilities, Singapore-based SendQuick has integrated Yoti’s digital ID technology into its remote access management platform, Conexa. Known for providing mobile messaging solutions for enterprises, SendQuick has now extended Conexa’s authentication features, which already included SMS One-Time Passwords, YubiKey security keys, and Singpass, Singapore’s digital ID system.

SendQuick Conexa serves as a robust platform facilitating secure remote access through Multi-Factor Authorization (MFA). With the integration of Yoti’s digital ID technology, users can now authenticate their identity using Yoti’s face-scanning technology. This feature matches an end user’s selfie to their photo ID, adding an extra layer of verification to ensure secure access. SendQuick highlighted that Yoti’s broad user base, encompassing 13 million users across 190 countries, significantly advocates for businesses to adopt this digital ID technology for authentication.

Yoti has been making strides in broadening the reach and application of its technology. Earlier this month, Yoti announced the development of a digital identity app for Lloyds Bank, following a £10 million investment from the bank earlier this year. The Lloyds Bank Smart ID, much like Yoti’s other digital ID apps like Yoti ID and Post Office EasyID, enables users to prove their age or identity conveniently using their smartphones. This app has found acceptance among various entities, including the Post Office and movie theaters, allowing users to verify their identity effortlessly.

Furthermore, Yoti’s commitment to providing versatile digital identity solutions was exemplified last month with the launch of a digital ID card for Translink, Northern Ireland’s primary public transportation provider. This initiative aims to assist students aged 13 to 16 in proving their age to avail a 50 percent base fare transit discount. By downloading the app and registering through a simple QR code and school email address verification, students can seamlessly avail cheaper travel fares, enhancing their connectivity to school and leisure activities.

The integration of Yoti’s digital ID into SendQuick Conexa not only amplifies the platform’s security features but also reflects the growing influence and application of Yoti’s digital identity technology.
