Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) and IPification have announced a strategic partnership to enhance digital security and streamline authentication services through network APIs. The collaboration, announced on March 10, 2025, will focus on developing and expanding Mobile Number Verification (MNV) solutions that eliminate the need for traditional one-time passwords (OTPs) or SMS verifications, building on IPification’s established track record of implementing similar solutions across Europe and Asia.
The partnership will use network APIs to provide more secure and efficient access to digital services while streamlining authentication processes across various industries. The approach follows recent industry trends, as shown by similar initiatives from major telecoms working to enhance mobile authentication security.
“We’re excited to partner with IPification to take digital security and user experience to the next level. By using network APIs, we will change the way enterprise connects in authentication with secure and hassle-free access to digital services,” said Kharisma, CCO of Telin. “This partnership not only boosts our Mobile Number Verification capabilities but also opens new possibilities for fraud prevention, credit scoring, and age verification.”
“At IPification, we believe that the future of authentication lies in seamless security, and we’re excited to be working alongside Telin to make that a reality,” said Stefan Kostic, IPification CEO. “By combining our expertise in mobile authentication with Telin’s extensive network infrastructure, we are developing solutions that will redefine digital identity verification.”
The partnership comes at a crucial time for Indonesia’s digital security landscape, where phishing attacks and digital fraud have seen significant increases. The collaboration will target global technology companies, integrating innovative identity verification technologies into mainstream digital ecosystems. Beyond authentication, the partnership will explore applications in fraud prevention, credit scoring, and age verification, benefiting financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, and other sectors.
Telin, founded in 2007, operates in multiple countries including Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia, with infrastructure spanning over 250,140 kilometers of cable system length, 58 Points of Presence, and 10 global offices. The company maintains over 19 Tier II to Tier IV Data Centers in strategic locations.
IPification’s patented technology enables secure, passwordless, zero-tap compatible mobile user authentication, registration, transaction approval, and fraud prevention solutions through phone number, SIM card, and device verification via IP address. The company has already demonstrated success in multiple markets, including recent expansions into France and other European territories, with its solutions currently deployed across numerous countries and regions.
