IPification is expanding the scope of its relationship with VOZZi. VOZZi is based in the Balkans, and operates a mobile app that that lets people use their smartphone to browse, order, and pay for roadside assistance services when their car has broken down. The company has formed a series of partnerships to make its roadside services available throughout the European Union.
The partnership with IPification, meanwhile, is intended to make the VOZZi app more user-friendly regardless of geography. In that regard, IPification analyzes IP addresses and device information to verify people’s identities with a single click on a standard smartphone. VOZZi has already deployed the service for customers in Serbia, and will now be extending that same utility to customers in Montenegro.
In Montenegro, IPification will be replacing an outdated SMS-based One-Time Password authentication system. VOZZi noted that SMS verification is more of a hassle for end users, and is hoping that IPification will boost its acquisition and retention rates.
“The whole premise of the VOZZi app is that it’s providing an easy, convenient way for users to find roadside assistance,” said VOZZi CEO Vladimir Šijaković. “With its low delivery rates and friction in the verification process, SMS OTP verification doesn’t really live up to that expectation. Having seen the impact of IPification on VOZZi conversion rates in Serbia, we had no doubts about expanding our partnership further.”
“I am very proud to announce our partnership with VOZZi in Montenegro,” added IPification CEO Stefan Kostic. “It’s been great getting to know them. Only a year later, we have significantly expanded our coverage, and VOZZi has expanded their services across the whole European Union.”
IPification started offering service in the UK and Switzerland in 2021. In 2022, the company has introduced a new Instant Messenger verification utility, and strengthened its relationship with MekongNet in Cambodia in a move that foreshadowed IPification’s progression with VOZZi.
