Yoti has found another youth-focused partner for its biometric mobile identity platform. Called ‘Native’, the new partner operates an app-based platform aimed at offering tickets for concerts and other events to university students.
For Native users, the partnership means that they will be able to log into the Native website without the need to enter a username or password, as authentication will be done through Yoti. The platform can also be used for proof of age, ensuring that Native users are able to access can purchase tickets for events to which they are entitled.
“We’re excited to partner with Yoti on our mission to improve the university experience,” commented Native CEO Nick Musto in a statement announcing the partnership. “By being able to verify your identity in-app, our users are one step closer to effortlessly going to and enjoying the best events in their city.”
The partnership underscores Yoti’s utility in proof of age applications, with the platform having recently been used to ensure that users accessing the Meet Group dating platform are adults, and to make sure that those accessing teenager-focused Yubo social media platform are not adults. But the Yoti platform offers other applications as well, and having recently raised £8 million in equity funding, Yoti will seek to further raise its profile as an all-around digital identity platform.
