Growth consultancy Frost & Sullivan has awarded Calgary Scientific with the title of 2014 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Growth Capital Investment Opportunity. It’s a recognition indicating Calgary Scientific’s excellent management, and its leadership and expertise within its field – medical diagnostic technologies.The company’s ResolutionMD platform, which facilitates the management of medical images so that doctors can provide medical diagnostic services with the aid of mobile devices, has been making strides in the global market in recent months. In October it found a partnership with OnBase by Hyland, a content management platform; and just last week it attained certification from Australian health authorities. With its increasing market access and accolades such as this one from Frost & Sullivan, the company is now poised for even greater market penetration.
And it’s a good time to be in that market. Biometric technology is helping to drive a boom in the advancement of remote healthcare, and could work hand-in-hand with the kind of technology in which Calgary Scientific specializes.
