“[BIO-key’s] solution is designed to integrate with Microsoft Active Directory to enable multi-factor biometric authentication, and it’s compliant with the NIST 800-171 standard.”
CyberCore Technologies is BIO-key‘s latest client. The company will integrate BIO-key’s ID Director for Windows into its solutions portfolio.
CyberCore specializes in providing value added services to the commercial and government sectors, and it’s the company’s focus on the latter that has brought it to BIO-key. As the companies explained in a statement announcing their collaboration, for its government projects CyberCore needs to meet multi-factor authentication guidelines established by the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST).
That’s where BIO-key’s solution comes in. The solution is designed to integrate with Microsoft Active Directory to enable multi-factor biometric authentication, and it’s compliant with the NIST 800-171 standard.
Commenting on the integration, CyberCore Sales Operations Director William J. Von Hagel lauded BIO-key’s “excellent support” in the deployment, as well as its “proven security, quick implementation and seamless integration into our IT environment.”
The news comes soon after another government sector-driven win for BIO-key last month, when the Province of British Columbia decided to expand its use of BIO-key’s WEB-key biometric software solution.
