Audio Analytics Platform Gets Voice Biometrics Support

Audio Analytics Platform Gets Voice Biometrics Support

Behavox, a “People Analytics” software specialist, has integrated voice biometrics into one of its flagship solutions.

With its head office in London and additional offices in New York, San Francisco, and Singapore – as well as an R&D center in Montreal – Behavox bills itself as a provider of AI-driven data analytics solutions for the enterprise. Last year the company launched Behavox Voice, a system that can transcribe speech and paralinguistic audio such as laughter or whispering, as well as look for specified key words.

Now, Behavox has added voice biometrics capabilities, enabling the system to automatically identify speakers during audio analysis. Commenting on the functionality in a statement, Behavox CEO Erkin Adylov said it allows end users “to identify speakers, even in noisy environments, with as little as 5 minutes of speech.”

Along with the voice biometrics capabilities comes newly added support for Cantonese and Mandarin. The platform already supports English and Spanish languages.

“With nearly 1.2 billion Chinese language speakers worldwide – equating to 16% of the world’s population – we knew that Mandarin and Cantonese had to be the next languages launched within Behavox Voice,” said Adylov. “As a global artificial intelligence firm, it is imperative that we develop these languages for our client base, especially with a great deal of clients concentrated across Asia.”

According to the statement, Behavox is continuing to “work on developing additional language functions, such as Japanese.”
