“Precise Biometrics says the Precise BioMatch Mobile integration should begin to generate licensing revenue in the fourth quarter of this year…”
Precise Biometrics’ flagship algorithm software, Precise BioMatch Mobile, is being used in a new device.
In a statement announcing the integration, Precise Biometrics declined to name the client in question, calling it only “a Chinese vendor”. But the company did reveal that the integration came by way of Synaptics, which announced this week that its Natural ID sensor technology had been integrated in a new phone from China-based TCL, the TCL 950.
Precise Biometrics says the Precise BioMatch Mobile integration should begin to generate licensing revenue in the fourth quarter of this year, though that will of course be based on sales volumes and can’t be accurately forecast at this time.
