The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will be highlighting some of the country’s most innovative technology companies at CES 2020, both on the show floor and during a one-hour press conference prior to the event. The “Smart Tech, Smart Future: Taiwan Innovations for 2020 & Beyond” conference is scheduled for 3pm on Monday, January 6th in Oceanside Ballroom F at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Four Taiwanese companies will be featured during the press conference, which will focus primarily on AIoT technology. The participants include CyberLink, Mindtronic AI, Ultracker Technology, and Noodoe EV.
Mindtronic is a computer vision company that is currently working on a digital cockpit that improves automotive safety with advanced driver-assistance and driver monitoring systems, while Ultracker is the maker of a 360-degree camera that can shoot 360 degree video in 4K, and Noodoe EV develops charging stations for electronic vehicles. CyberLink, meanwhile, is the creator of the FaceMe facial recognition platform. The company recently partnered with Advantech to make the solution more appealing to AIoT manufacturers, and was previously featured in TAITRA’s Taiwan Showroom at IoT Asia 2019.
CES guests who can’t make it to the press conference will be able to view Taiwanese tech at TAITRA’s Taiwan Excellence Pavilion during the show itself. The Pavilion will be located at booth #36021 in South Hall 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. CyberLink will also be running its own booth during the event.
