Fingerprint Cards Tech Arrives in Trio of Lenovo Smartphones

September 12, 2016

“The new integrations further suggest that Lenovo will be a significant and long-term patron of FPC.”

Fingerprint Cards‘ partnership with Lenovo has been further strengthened with three new device integrations. The latter’s K6, K6 Note, and L6 Power smartphones all feature the FPC1035 fingerprint sensor.Fingerprint Cards Tech Arrives in Trio of Lenovo Smartphones

It’s the same sensor model used in a pair of devices Lenovo launched earlier this year under its Motorola brand—the Moto Z and Moto Z Force—suggesting that the company was satisfied with FPC’s technology. Lenovo also used another Fingerprint Cards sensor, the FPC 1155, in a more recent smartphone, the ZUK Z2 Rio.

The new integrations further suggest that Lenovo will be a significant and long-term patron of FPC. They also help to reinforce FPC’s position as one of the leading fingerprint sensor suppliers to the mobile device market, which continues to expand as such technology becomes more popular across the smartphone price spectrum.
