GOTrust Technology (or GO-Trust) has launched its iReader and SDencrypter for iOS.
The microSD security devices were previously available for Windows and Android, and are now compatible with Apple’s iPhone and iPads. According to GO-Trust, the iReader supports FIPS 140-2 Level 3, FIPS 201, BCTC, and FIDO standards, and offers data encryption via the SDencrypter.
The launch comes immediately on the heels of GO-Trust’s announcement of a new partnership with Nok Nok Labs, whose S3 Authentication Suite will be used to enable facial recognition on GO-Trust devices with an eye to FIDO standards.
GO-Trust CEO Darren Lee said that partnership made “every piece of the puzzle ready and available” for his company’s offerings; as for the SDencrypter, RSA attendees will be able to puzzle that offering out for themselves when GO-Trust demonstrates it at the IT security conference in March.
