Jumio’s unprecedented 2019 awards streak continues. The company has now received a Fortress Cyber Security Award, taking home a 2019 prize in the Authentication and Identity category.
The Fortress Cyber Security Award is handed out by the Business Intelligence Group, which also bestowed Jumio with a BIG Innovation Award and a BIG Artificial Intelligence Award earlier this year. The latest accolade acknowledges Jumio’s efforts in the identity verification and authentication space, including the February launch of the Jumio Authentication platform.
“The Fortress Cyber Security Award recognizes the time, energy and passion we’ve invested across the company to make the internet a safer place by working to eradicate fraud,” said Jumio President Robert Prigge. “Modern companies need a reliable means of identity proofing and authenticating their users.”
“It was clear to our expert judges that the entire group of innovators and innovations are the tip of the spear helping to prepare, defend and respond to the growing threat of cyber attacks,” added BIG Chief Nominations officer Maria Jimenez.
The award is one of several that Jumio has received in recent months. The company took home four Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, and then went on to grab a pair of Stevies at the American Business Awards in May.
