Jumio has followed up its stellar second quarter results with another 2019 trophy for its mantle. The company has been named a Gold Winner at the 2019 IT World Awards, taking home top prize in the Security Software – Hot Technology and Solution of the Year category.
“Traditional methods of authentication can no longer be trusted to authenticate users,” said Jumio President Robert Prigge. “Being honored with the Gold IT World Award validates our vision to create a safer digital ecosystem by helping enterprises confirm a user’s true digital identity through face-based authentication.”
The IT World Awards are handed out by the Network Products Guide, and were judged by a panel of industry experts who selected winners in a range of business and product categories. Jumio competed with its identity verification solution, which authenticates users with facial recognition.
The latest accolade continues an unprecedented year on the awards circuit. In the past few months alone, Jumio has been recognized by the American Business Awards and the Business Intelligence Group, which presented the company with a Fortress Cyber Security Award and an Artificial Intelligence Award. The awards success has also been translating to business for the identity verification specialist, which has recently formed a slew new partnerships with financial institutions like Bank ABC and Brazil’s BTG Pactual.
