Safran Identity & Security has won an award for “Outstanding Quality and Delivery” at this year’s Vodafone Supplier Awards.
The awards are handed out by the telecom each year to recognize the key players in its supply chain, and this is the third consecutive year in which Safran has been recognized, with Safran having been named Supplier of the Year for 2015, when it was still operating under the name Morpho (Safran). The year 2016 was evidently an eventful one as well, with Safran having helped to develop a mobile enrollment program for Vodafone and Airtel in India.
In a statement acknowledging the latest award, Safran Identity & Security Telecom Business Unit General Manager and VP Yves Portalier said it “reflects the quality of our long and successful cooperation and motivates us to maintain or even exceed this high level in the future.”
Vodafone is one of the largest mobile operators in the world, with networks in 28 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific regions.
