“The deployment’s announcement comes not long after HID Global mobile access control technology was integrated into the Honeywell Vector Occupant App toward the end of last year…”
Entertainment company Star India is using HID Global technology to secure the entrances of its head office in Mumbai, HID Global has announced.
The company is taking advantage of Texas-based HID Global’s HID Mobile Access solution, which allows personnel to access the building using their mobile devices, while administrators are able to easily assign or revoke credentials on a remote basis.
The deployment is evidently going well. Star India won the “Excellence in Security Initiatives” category in the IFSEC India Awards 2016, and the company is now considering expanding the use of HID Global’s solution to its headquarters’ canteen and other additional spaces. In a statement, HID Global’s sales director for the region, Vishwanath Kulkarni, asserted that Star India’s IT administrators “are enjoying the experience.”
The deployment’s announcement comes not long after HID Global mobile access control technology was integrated into the Honeywell Vector Occupant App toward the end of last year, signalling continued momentum for the solution as more organizations consider mobile access control.
