Government
Last week marked a major development in government e-services, with Morpho (Safran) launching its SecureIdentity platform, which supports GOV.UK Verify, in the UK. Now British citizens can access government services from the convenience of their smartphones.

Last week was filled with FinTech news. An update on Apple Pay’s China launch brought surprising news of the mobile wallet’s success in the region that experts have been calling oversaturated with mPayment solutions. Wells Fargo Bank announced its support of Samsung Pay while Android Pay began mulling contactless payments enabled by facial recognition.
We also reported on the Nymi Band wearable, which can authenticate payments with the beat of a user’s heart, a Partnership that will see HYPR technology protecting a blockchain vault, and finally an announcement that Daon is providing the biometric tech used in MasterCard’s Identity Check solution.
